By using Vida — the Guide, the Journey quiz, the Companion, or The Kit — you agree to these terms. They are written in plain language and describe what Vida is, what it is not, and what we expect from each other.
What Vida is
Vida is a small editorial and product brand for people on GLP-1 medication. The site offers a free reading Guide, a Journey quiz that produces a personal reading, and a one-time-purchase Kit of four topical cosmetic formulas with an accompanying Companion surface.
What Vida is not
The Kit is a cosmetic, not a drug. Nothing on this site — the Guide, the Journey, or the Companion — is medical, nutritional, or dietary advice. These statements have not been evaluated by the FDA. The products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Always consult your physician and, where appropriate, a Registered Dietitian before changing anything about your care.
Who can use it
You need to be at least eighteen years old and a resident of the United States. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or under the care of a physician, check with them before starting a new topical ritual.
Your account
Accounts are created through Google sign-in after a Kit purchase. Keep your credentials private. You are responsible for activity on your account. If you think something is wrong, email hello@vida.com.
Purchase
The Kit is sold through Shopify. Checkout, billing, shipping, and order emails are Shopify’s responsibility; the card information never touches Vida. By placing an order you also agree to Shopify’s terms at the checkout step.
Each Kit is a one-time purchase (30-day or 90-day supply). There is no recurring charge and nothing to cancel. Reorders happen only when you click Start again. See Returns for refunds and Shipping for delivery details.
The Companion
The Companion is software. It is built from published research and your quiz answers. It is not a therapist, a dietitian, or a doctor and it does not replace one. Responses include a standing disclaimer for that reason. We apply guardrails to the model output — if something slips past them, email hello@vida.com and we will look at it.
Acceptable use
Do not try to reverse-engineer the Companion, abuse the rate limits, scrape the Guide at scale, or upload anything you do not have the right to share. A single user account per person.
Intellectual property
The Guide, the site design, the wordmark, and all editorial copy are © Vida, all rights reserved. Personal, non-commercial reading and sharing of public Guide chapters is encouraged; reproduction at scale or in commercial products is not.
Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is.” To the extent permitted by law, Vida disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Our aggregate liability for any claim related to the service is capped at the amount you paid us in the prior twelve months.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts seated in Delaware.
Changes
When we update these terms we change the date above. Material changes are also mentioned in email or the Companion brief.
